My name is Joy Eniola Shode, a student of medicine and surgery at Lagos State University.

My dream is to provide medical services to the less privileged in society and, in the long run, start a non-profit organization whose responsibility will be to help members of the community who can not afford to pay their medical bills.

I have always had a secret fear of not being able to complete my education due to the inability to pay my school fees. One day, I decided to search for scholarships and found out about EduGrant while surfing the web.

I was so happy when I got the call informing me about my award. This has given me more confidence to concentrate on my studies. I am grateful to EduGrant for this wonderful opportunity, and I also want to tell other youths out there to believe in themselves and always be ready to take that leap of faith.
